RumiOut beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing, there is a field.
I’ll meet you there.
Rahul Sharma
As a results-based psychotherapist, I am dedicated to helping clients move beyond simply coping with life’s challenges to embracing their strengths and achieving meaningful change.
My professional background includes extensive training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness-Based therapies, which I use to support adults facing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and stress.
My approach to therapy is present-focused, action-oriented, and collaborative. Together, we will identify specific goals and work intentionally toward achieving them. I aim to help you uncover patterns that may be holding you back and support you in aligning with your values and aspirations.
Through compassion, empathy, and a touch of humor, I strive to create a therapeutic environment where growth feels natural and rewarding.
In our sessions, you can expect to gain clarity, self-awareness, and a sense of empowerment to move forward with confidence. We will focus on helping you feel more grounded, aligned with your goals, and connected to what matters most in your life.
Ideas I return to
Some of these are mine. Some I received from my teacher and the tradition behind him. Each has earned its place by holding up in real life.
On people
You can’t step into someone else’s shoes while you’re still wearing your own.
Vulnerability is simply allowing others to see you. It isn’t exposure.
I would rather know the truth than arrive at an answer quickly. Judgment has its place. Just don’t let it be the first filter.
Concepts are like soap. Use them to wash, then rinse them off.
Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi ShankarDon’t see intention behind other people’s mistakes.
Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi ShankarA mistake is just a mis-take. You’re allowed a few before you get the shot.
On life
There is what happened, and there is the story we tell about it. Most of us live almost entirely in the story.
Look back at your life. How much of it did you do, and how much simply happened? Everything you want has a million inputs. You are one of them.
Caring is beautiful. What matters is how you hold it.
It isn’t about changing your perspective. It’s about widening it.
We brush our teeth every morning. The quality of our lives depends on the quality of our minds, and still we roll out of bed and wonder why it’s messy.
Acceptance isn’t passive. It’s seeing clearly, so you can respond with all of yourself.
We all do the best we can with what we have, and we are all capable of more. Wisdom is letting both be true.
